Favorite Indy Eats: Half Liter BBQ, Keystone Sports Review {Wings + Pizza}, Golden Dragon, La Hacienda, & Der Pretzel Wagen

Favorite family fun spot/activity: We LOVE Sky Zone in Plainfield! It works for all my kids

Favorite "me-time" activity: Massage or Facial at Massage Heights at Ironworks

What are you reading right now? I LOVE Little Miss Martha and Trusty Chucks; Just finished reading #Influencer and it had some great insight into that modern content creators head space

Best Mom Moment: When my son was born - I was lucky enough to be a mom figure to my older kids, but they have a mom. When my son was born, it was a magical thing in my life and I truly cannot believe that he chose me to be his mommy.

Career Highlight(s): When I joined on as the Director of Partnerships for theCityMoms it was a really big win professionally for me. It was one of the first moments where I felt like someone/a company truly saw my worth and my abilities. Having someone have faith in you - it's everything!

What you love about being a Hoosier? I know it sounds corny {indiana pun lol} but I love the general Hoosier Hospitality. There aren't many other places where you can make a bad joke in a line of people waiting at the post office and they will laugh or smile with you - rather than looking at you with their crazy detector

As a child, what did you want to be when you grow up? I wanted to be a lawyer; funny enough my older sister is now a referee in Detroit {basically a lawyer but with the power of a judge}

Where you want to be in 10 years? I want to be settled in our forever home, working 100% remotely, and maybe even hanging out with a grand baby or two

Career/Parenting advice you would like to share with other working mamas: Don't let anyone else tell you how you are supposed to feel about being a working mom. Feel guilty, its okay. Feel happy, good for you! Have no strong feelings one way or the other, kick ass! We take what others say as "gospel" far too often. One working moms journey is NEVER identical to another persons, keep doing what works for you - even if that changes 6 times during your career. It's about and it's about your family.
